Justin Bieber's mom think people should give her son a break. Appearing on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live this week -- alongside Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner -- Pattie Mallette addressed the 19-year-old "Beauty and the Beat" singer's recent spate of bad press. (On Wednesday, July 10, a video surfaced on TMZ of the teen peeing into a mop bucket, grabbing a photo of former President Bill Clinton, spraying it with cleaning fluid, and shouting an obscenity at the picture.)

"I definitely think he’s getting a bad rap, but I'm also not naive to think that my child is perfect and making all the best decisions of his life," Mallette told Andy Cohen of her oldest child.
"He knows what I disagree with, and he knows all the things that I'm really proud of him for, too. I mean, people don't talk about all the great things he does every day."

For example? "Every night before a show, he meets with Make-a-Wish kids," she continued. "He goes to sick kids' hospitals. He visits with them [and] takes his time. He gives back to charities."
He also admits to his mistakes.
As Us Weekly previously reported, Bieber contacted Clinton to make amends after the aforementioned video went viral.

"Justin apologized for his comments," a source told Us of the mea culpa, noting that the Canadian pop star even offered his assistance with the Clinton Global Initiative. "President Clinton took it in jest and said, 'If that is the worst thing you have ever done, all is well.'"
Bieber later tweeted at Clinton: "Thanks for taking the time to talk Mr. President. Your words meant alot. #greatguy." He added: "In life u will make mistakes and people will try and tear u down...but u gotta stay positive. Stay strong, and learn to be better, and always live to serve others and the Lord. #growingeveryday."
