The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer visited the set Friday to lend his considerable expertise to Casey Abrams, Lauren Alaina, Jacob Lusk, James Durbin, Stefano Langone, Haley Reinhart and Scotty McCreery—and we’ll just go ahead and assume that they were blown away.
“Holy pride of New Jersey….BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN in the studio right now listening to the idols sing!!!!” read a tweet posted to the show’s official account.
