Wild teenage girl gang attacks shopkeeper in frenzy of violence
The girls aged about 14 grappled with the victim as he ushered them out of the convenience store.
They were then caught on camera violently kicking the windows of the front door as the victim tried to shut them out.
A second yob then smacked Mr Acikgoz in the face and the sound of her right hand striking his cheek can be heard on the video footage shot by a neighbour.
The 30-year-old worker retreated inside only for two more girls to simultaneously kick the two doors open, smashing the glass and causing £250 damage.
They hurled vile abuse at him before the five of them cowardly fled the scene.
The footage of the attack has now been released and police are appealing for anyone who recognises any of the girl gang to get in touch.
Although, incredibly, one of the girls has apparently come forward to give her version of events on an internet message board.
The girl claimed they were the 'scared' victims of an assault at the hands of a 'foreigner'.
She wrote: 'We are a group of friends who stick up for each ova .... i have never bullied anyone in ma life n never would.
'They grabbed my friend without warning and assaulted her....they thn grabbed me so yes i struggled ....
'The people who assulted us are liars and to be honest i am very happy that my friend kicked the window in.
'Wat u see in the picture is a couple of scared girls getting grabbed by some foreinger for something they were accusing us of doing.'
Mr Acikgoz, who is originally from Turkey, said the girls had visited his store in Bournemouth, Dorset, two weeks before the attack.
He said: 'They were asked to leave then because they were smoking in the shop. There was a woman customer in the store at the time and when she told them to go they called her a geriatric whore.
'Then on Saturday they came back and I recognised them from before. I asked them nicely to leave repeatedly and they refused and used the f word and c word a lot.
'Then I decided to use minimum force and grabbed one of them by the arm to get them out. I was then punched in the neck from behind.
'When I got them outside I tried to close the door on them. One of them was quite strong and she punched me.
'They then kicked at the door and glass went everywhere and at that point they ran off.'
The attack happened at 5pm on Saturday.
PC Gary Waterman, of Bournemouth police, said: 'The member of staff had asked a group to leave the shop due to their behaviour when he was verbally and physically assaulted.
'The victim did not suffer any injuries.'
