Dr. Mohamed ElBaradei, one of the leaders of the Egyptian uprising, set a deadline for President Hosni Mubarak, calling on him to leave the country by Friday.
ElBaradei told the al-Arabiya network that Mubarak's resignation was the only thing that would prevent bloodshed and enable a dialogue. Meanwhile, the Muslim Brotherhood movement said there would be no negotiations with the Egyptian government as long as Mubarak remained in office. (News agencies)
