Diana Ross and Billy Dee Williams Reunite on 'Oprah' (VIDEO)

It’s been more than four years since Diana Ross made a public appearance of such proportions, and the media kept quiet about her, although there’s not enough ink to cover all the star’s merits and accomplishments. The diva delivered her first television performance in four years, on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” on Friday – and what a performance that was.

Accompanied by her five children, Rhonda Ross Kendrick, Tracee Ellis Ross, Chudney Ross, Ross Arne Naess and Evan Ross, the star spoke about different aspects of her career, about family values and love, and remembered Rhonda’s difficult pregnancy with her son Ralf. To make the show even more exciting, Oprah surprised Ross with a reunion with her “Mahogany” co-star Billy Dee Williams, 35-years after the movie came out. Diana Ross made this last edition of “The Oprah Winfrey Show” a true (and rare) television event.

If you missed the show, you can still see Diana Ross on stage these days, as she is currently on her “Now” tour. The following performances will be held at Moody Theater in Austin, Texas, this Sunday, then Verizon Wireless Theater in Houston, Tuesday, March 1, 2011; followed by Majestic Theatre, Dallas, Wednesday, March 2nd; Times Union Ctr Perf Arts Moran Theater, Jacksonville, Florida, Friday, March 4th; Durham Performing Arts Center, Friday, March 11; The Bardavon 1869 Opera House, Poughkeepsie, Sunday, March 13; Bergen Performing Arts Center, Englewood, NJ, Tuesday, March 15; Mortensen Hall – Bushnell Theatre, Hartford, CT, Wednesday, March 16; Stamford Center For The Arts – Palace Theatre, Stamford, CT, Friday, March 18; Caesars Atlantic City, Atlantic City, NJ, Saturday, March 19; and will culminate with the show at St. George Theatre, Staten Island, Sunday, March 20, 2011.
