Derek, Ricky Gervais' comedy drama about a vulnerable man working in an old people's home, has been commissioned for a full series by Channel 4.

Gervais's record has been near-perfect when it comes to the art of the 6 x 30 comedy genre. The Office, Extras... Life's Too Short... oh, hold on...

Now, he could be set to do it again with Derek... but can he pull it off?
