The Phrase That Makes You Sound Like A Loser

Thursday, May 24, 2012
Hi, y'all! Zoë here.

For my column this week, I wrote about a phrase that someone I once dated used constantly.

You, dear readers, gave me very mixed feedback. I infuriated some people, coming off as a shallow girl who takes no responsibility for her bad decisions. I suppose that's understandable. My aim was to create a fun piece that would start a conversation about word and phrase dating dealbreakers.

So, what word or phrase makes you cringe when you hear it come out of a potential mate's mouth? Let me know in the comments! Care to join in in criticizing me? You, too, should post a comment!

Check out my previous columns as well. I've written about the word that makes you sound stupid, the most overused and abused word, and the most offensive phrase ever.

Also, I'm constantly looking for new words and phrases to dissect and write about. Any words or phrases that you hate or love? Let me know on Twitter!
